North Star Resort & Campground

We are under New Management! the new owner has reviewed all reviews and the negative issues. will be dealt with, it will be all new experience. Plus the campground will triple in size or bigger with pull through sights and big rig capacity. Over landing sites are also in the plans. We hope you enjoy it and make us a destination for the future

for the last two years we use this as a base camp for our tubing trip. Very great staff, very fun place. just out side of town enough to be private, close enough for a run to the store when needed. They have Cabins at the top of the hill with the office and a multitude of camp sites.

Not going to lie, looks are deceiving. At first I was unsure if I was even in the right place. But after getting here, getting set up and talking to the owners I am very happy. Its a mom and pop shop. But they will give you the shirt off their back to accommodate you! I would recommended giving this place a chance before judging and that why I recommended this place to anyone reading this. Also town is 2mins away which is helpful. You would never know when you're in the campground as it seems very back in the woods but its a nice place to camp!

All around 5 stars for North Star Resort & campground. The beautiful lady who owns and runs these cabins is very friendly and always greets my family with a smile! Her cabins are the perfect size equipped with a bathroom, beds, a tv, a very useful kitchen and of course a bonfire pit right outside for anyone to use!

I consider myself an indoor cat who generally hates the outdoors, so cabins were the closest thing to camping I was willing to do, and these were adequate, had all the basics we needed.
