This is our favorite campground in the area and have been coming for many years! You really are in the forest here. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and all the staff were very friendly. One of our favorite parts of our stay was grabbing a specialty cocktail from the snack shack and hanging on the beach. We can’t wait for our next stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Pinewood Lodge! The campground is beautifully maintained and offers the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. The sites are spacious, clean, and surrounded by nature, giving you that true camping experience while still having great amenities close by. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help or answer questions, which made our stay even better. The lodge itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the grounds are filled with activities for both kids and adults. Between the lake, fishing, and all the recreational options, there was never a dull moment. What we loved most was the sense of community—families gathering, kids making new friends, and everyone enjoying the outdoors together. Even on rainy days, it was still enjoyable, and we mad

We have been coming to Pinewood for short stays (10 days or less) for about 7 years. This year we decided to stay for most of the summer with our sweet dog since this is the place we feel most comfortable, just the camping experience we want, compared to all others we have visited. |We have never encountered a rude or unfriendly staff member; in fact, it's the opposite. We had a water leak when we opened up this summer. Jeff was amazing, got to us quickly, calmed our nerves, found the issue, had the part, fixed it in a short time so we could enjoy our camping. The ladies in the front office are always so helpful and kind. The staff in the lodge are also always smiling and helpful. |We loving bringing our dog as there are many areas to walk her and they have a great dog park that is always

Quite literally one of the worst campgrounds we have ever been to. We are avid campers, camped at MANY campgrounds especially local to this area. This campground is by far the worst one we have been at. The grounds are beautiful and it has ALL RHE POTENTIAL! But the rules area ridiculous and the activities are subpar! if you have dogs and plan to bring them jsut know you can’t bring them ANYWHERE! So many dog restricted areas which is jsut about everywhere they have family activities. So you will be leaving your dogs in the camper or cabin the entire time. I understand not allowing them on the beach, but at the pavilion where all the activities are seems dramatic. And no one could give us real or legitimate reason. The activities for kids are subpar compared to other campgrounds and the st

This is my absolute favorite campground, Ive been coming here for more than 20 years. This is a family run business and you can tell they love what they do. The camp sites are spacious and the bathrooms are very clean. They also have washers/dryers available which is super convenient. I have stayed on campsites and have also rented cabins and the cabins are comfortable and clean. The campground itself is clean and very family friendly. I havent had any issues with rowdy party people and quiet hours seem to be respected which is nice for families with little kids. They have a food truck now which is great, it's convenient and right next to the beach so you can get a snack while soaking up some sun. The foods really good and they also offered specialty cocktails. Some campgrounds I have b
