Mirbeau Inn & Spa - Plymouth, MA

I had a very disappointing experience at Mirabeau. My partner and I stayed here for one night to celebrate our anniversary and although the majority of the experience was great, a spa attendant made a comment at me that basically ruined the entire thing for me. We stayed in the guest house, which was gorgeous and very spacious. The amenities were awesome and majority of the service staff was very attentive and kind. We stayed Thursday night into Friday night and since we had limited time, we woke up very early to utilize everything before leaving on Friday morning. As we entered the spa around 7:30am, a spa attendant asked "have you been in the locker room before?", and I said yes. Mirbeau Inn & Spa is truly one of my favorite places to unwind. From the moment I arrived, I felt an immediate sense of calm. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed — the perfect setting to disconnect and relax. The spa experience was incredible. I loved having access to the steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, and relaxation lounges — everything you need to fully slow down and reset. My treatment was outstanding, and the therapist made me feel completely pampered and at ease. My hotel stay was just as wonderful. Mirbeau Inn and Spa My wife and I were at the Mirbeau Inn and Spa in Plymouth, Massachusetts in February 2026. We came in on Sunday night knowing a nor’easter was coming in on Monday. It came in all right, and turned out to be the worst in 50 years. It took the power out for about 26 hours. The staff stayed over to support the guests and provided various meal options for those of us who were hunkered down because of the storm. We figured we would just stay in and enjoy the spa during the storm, but our plans were shifted due to the power outage. Every staff member was gracious and helpful and answered our questions and provided solutions, like flashlights for the dark hallways and the gas fireplace kept things cozy. There is much to like about this resort. The rooms are large and comfortable, with a soaking tub and gas fireplaces. The spa area is great, especially the relaxation room with the foot soaking pool and the greenhouse area for hanging out. I had a wonderful massage. |We had a dinner and breakfast there. The food was good, but a resort this size should have more than one offering at every meal, or at least have an informal coffee shop. (They do sell sandwiches, wraps, and drinks at the spa.) |There seem to be a number of issues with the management and front desk services, however. There were difficulties in making the reservation (the site was down, then the email system wasn’t working so no confirmation could be sent for a week). The most perfect mom self-care day! From the moment you walk in, you feel so taken care of at Mirbeau. I had a facial with Gigi and she was absolutely incredible. Her energy instantly made me feel special and like I was truly having a luxury experience. She warmed the room with her presence, and I left not only glowing from the facial, but feeling so taken cared of. As a mom who is always taking care of others this was a much needed change.
