Pine Ave Inn

It's definitely a work in progress but the manager is a good guy who is trying to make it a better place! Pretty quiet for the most part.

Ok so we have stayed in a lot of motels and hotels and the lady’s that were running this place on Christmas Eve deserve this review. They treated us like we were home on winter vacation from collage not complete strangers that were staying a night. We thought the rooms had fridges so they got a bag of ice and a cooler for us. Just the tip of the ice burg. On top of the treatment like we were at the Hilton the rooms are newly redone very tastefully. Somebody put some money into it and it shows I can tell you by the neighborhood that that place did not always look like that m. So whoever did it well done. Again to the staff this is the couple you help out thanks and happy new year.

I’m not one to write bad reviews but I have to share our experience with this motel. We had a reservation for tonight and had not heard from the owner/host on how to check in or confirmation. Upon arrival they told us at the front desk “all rooms were flooded” so we couldn’t stay. The front desk lady didn’t want to give us the owner's name so we knew something was fishy was going on. All in all we are trying to get our money back through Airbnb, but please do not stay here. It also was in a bad area. DO NOT recommend at all.

This place was nothing like the photos. The owner or manager was very pleasant. But when we first walked in the room, we're like wow, smells like stale cigarette smoke 🚬 😒 burn hole in the comforter. No trash cans, no closet to hang your clothes, no mirror in the bathroom I understand they're remodeling but they should have noted that so people are aware. The inn is not located in the best part of town. Luckily we just spent one night. We even had a guy enter our room because the guy managing the place gave him a key card to our room! Talk about being scared 😱 I looked at the guy because the office was right across from our room I said what the heck!!! He said he was sorry, my husband had to push the table against the door just to feel safe that no one else would enter. Oh and we did see

Do not recommend this place at all, looks nothing like the pictures advertised. Location is not the best. Very disappointed with the service. I booked 2 rooms one of them was done being cleaned by 2:00pm which is fine since that is the check in time but the tv doesn’t work and there was roaches crawling in the room. For the other room the property failed to notify me that there was a leak from the rain in the room which needed to be fixed and cleaned so we weren’t able to get into the other room until 6:00 pm which is really annoying after traveling all day since 3:00am EST from out of state. On top of all that you can hear gun shots, loud music, car alarms in the middle of the night. Please pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.
