Palms Motel

Stayed in room 17, apartment room. There are blood stains on the walls, creepy writing on back of doors and on closet frame, stains all over the room, bed bugs, black mold, overpriced for the rooms, weird hard stuff all over the shower. Would not recommend for the price or how the owners treat you.

I stayed here for a night with 4 adults and our 2 years old. The owner came to our room around 1030pm banging on the door while I'm trying to get my child to sleep and told us we needed to leave in the morning because my sister had come to the room. No warning about visitors, nothing. 10am more banging on the door. Apologized for the visitor. Asked for the additional money we had put down for the rest of the week back and was informed that if we didn't leave right then she would call the police.

There was a weird note on our bedroom door about a girl who used to be happy. And weird dark stains that looked like dried blood and splatters on the ceiling. This left us to the conclusion that a murder or suicide happened in our room so we had to sleep with ALL the lighta on and lit candles to ward off ghost. This also told us that no one attempts to clean rooms. There were a few german roaches and an exposed wire. This place was a great lot to film a horror movie but not so great for a vacation or a home away from home. But the place could have been worse....

These people are crazy they purposely kick you out after paying my daughter had a fit an they said we were to loud. We just paid for 7 days an she kicked us out that day an kept all our money. I was told they do this all the time to make extra money on one unit. Also there are bed bugs everywhere an roaches an blood stains an ripped blankets stained couches stains beds it's a nightmare here don't do it to your self we just watched them kick out another young couple with 2 small babies right after they paid Don't ever ever stay at palms inn motel on 4th st. They will take your money then kick you out if u have one freind over (400$ a week can't have a freind over. Kept our money kicked us out. An there place is so nasty for the price. They secretly try to make double there money on one unit

Horrible. I would give a negative star if I had the option. There is no actual office, just a little window they open to talk to you with a damp, stale, old smell coming out of it. There are no prices listed anywhere for rooms and am sure we were over charged. They couldn't provide second key for room. I have never had to look at a room before getting it, but I will in future. Blood stains and writing on walls, not clean with roaches, curtains made out of sheets and duck taped to cover holes. Extension cord plugged into another extention cord which was open, frayed and had burn marks around it (my son got shocked by it). No wifi, no phone. T.V. was from the 90's. Owners are not pleasant and creepy. This would be a great place to scare yourself durimg halloween!
