Palm City Motel

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Bed bugs & other bugs in the bed & all over. Made our skin crawl! Mold in the shower! My daughter, her boyfriend & I slept in our cars in the parking lot. Yes, the owner was very nice but there's no excuse for this condition. Just absolutely disgusting!

The owner was very friendly and had a room at the last minute. Not a great price, but one of the few left in town during peak tourist season. Mostly clean room - only qualm was a sticky spot on the floor, which was thankfully tile rather than carpet. Very basic linens, but they were clean. Loud Mexican restaurant across the street combined with the mattress quality made for a very poor night's sleep.

We only stopped because we had driven too long, my husband was getting a migraine and needed a bed NOW. Should have know something was wrong when the guy at the office asked us if we wanted to see the room and told us twice that there are no refunds. How bad could it be, right? It is much worse than you can imagine! If you are planning a trip, DO NOT CONSIDER STAYING HERE. Not only filthy but very unsafe area. After 2 cans of Lysol and migraine subsiding we were on the road. Lesson learned, if they ask if you want to see the room RUN.

Had roaches in sink. We walked in saw it then walked right back out. She a army vet and even if wasn't not going to stay in motel with bugs. Went up to tiny window in front tried to get money back he didn't believe us. We told him had photo. He tried to give us another room but we just wanted money back. Almost thought about calling cops but didn't. He quickly shut window and locked the window and door. Fishy there. Then got on the phone. 5 mins later we got a refund finally . But we had to wait 15mins more just to get refund. He didn't really want to give us a refund but did. Then we started to leave. Right as we were leaving in car we could see him running to the room to check it out. Glad we left that place. I have no idea how it's still even open. There was like almost no one even ther

I stayed at the Palm City Motel in room 119 for 3 days and 3 nights. I quite enjoyed how clean and comfy the room was, so it's a good value for what you pay. The only things I'd say are bad about the room is that there was no hot water in the shower. I never called management to fix it but I'm sure they would have. I would stay here again.
