Palace Motel

Came to New Bern to visit family and to Look for work opportunities. Got a couple on my radar. Over all the motel is in a great location and good people. Everything is walking distance from there. I will see y'all soon even if it's just to see how y'all are doing. Stay blessed.

This place is full of mold and bugs. Tripped breaker. Guest fighting. Loud and the ac/heating units are filthy and don't work properly. Should be bulldozed.

I have nothing good to say about this motel. Holes all over the bed spread. Bed spread did not fit bed. 3x too large for bed. Bed linens were never laundered during stay. And bed bugs!!! And the owners refused a refund for us having brought said bed bugs back to our home. For the price of these rooms you'd think they would at least launder the bed linens, that the drink machines would work and that they could at least afford some fixing of minor issues in every room, and make right the problems of bed bugs infestations they allow their customers to take home with them after their stay. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY IN THIS HOLE THEY CALL A MOTEL. I WILL BE CALLING SOMEONE TO CHECK OUT THE MOTEL AND THE ROOMS AND TRY TO SHUT THEM DOWN BEFORE ANYONE ELSE TAKES HOME UNWANTED GUESTS FROM THIS MOT

WaterBugs in the room. The desk clerk kept raising the price of the room by $10 three times. Started at $60 then when I came back next day he said it is $70. When asked about the price change he said he sold out of those rooms. The place was empty. The 3rd time, a few days later he increased the price to $80. That is when we saw bugs. He would not refund the room for the first night so.we just cancelled and will never go there again.

I give 4 stars cuz of the respectful, friendly staff! It is old. It was a good stay. No bug issue, walgreens, gas station, mcdonalds was close by. Peaceful n quiet. No issues at all, just an older motel. If ur on a budget especially. Give it a chance
