Hampton Inn New Bern

The lady at the front desk who welcomed us to the hotel was very friendly and gracious. She was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and was happy to answer our questions. We had to leave before breakfast so I can't give you an opinion on that!

The location is great for what we needed, but the room was not very clean. There are tons of tiny black hairs all over the bathroom floor. We leave tomorrow and we don’t want to switch rooms as we are heading to bed, but this is disgusting. For a $200 room I’d expect better. There’s tons of other hotels in the area I’d look into before booking here.

We recently stayed at this newly renovated hotel, and overall had a great experience. We did run into a small maintenance issue, but Nick went above and beyond to help resolve it quickly. His professionalism and kindness really made a difference and helped keep our stay comfortable and stress‑free. The location was perfect for us—close and convenient to a doctor’s appointment we had in the area since we live out of town. We appreciated the clean, updated rooms and the excellent customer service. Thanks again to Nick for making our stay a positive one. We will be back!

I stayed several days. The rooms were okay, but the customer service was great. Ms.Iram greeted me at check-in, and she was very polite and helpful. She always smiled at customers, and I can tell she made customers feel very welcome. It's good to see people still take pride in their job and value customer service.
