Ozark Adventures RV Campgrounds

We are new to the sprinter van life and were excited about a quick weekend away. Every RV park we kept finding in this area was just a concrete jungle so when we stumbled on this place, we were thrilled. The owner was very kind and willing to accommodate us for our short 2 night stay. We loved it and can't wait to come back! You can tell that a lot of hard work and attention was put into everything here. There is a cute little pond you can walk to, a mountain biking/hiking trail cutting through a wooded area, a large community fire pit and other community seating areas, outdoor games, several swings nestled throughout the property, etc! Had a reservation during bike week. This place is not motorcycle friendly. I would suggest not reserving a spot here if you are bringing street bikes. It's barely RV friendly. The terrain is steep, rocky, and just not very nice. The owner was nice enough to refund my money. Oh yeah, he had also given away our reserved spot to another camper.

The owner was super sweet and accommodating. They just put in a nice little dog park and have a very nice main building with showers and restrooms. However the actual RV sites were very tight and over grown with brush and trees. We have a bigger 5th wheel RV and the roads were very tight and lined with trees making it extremely difficult to maneuver the RV to and from the spot especially with the hills we had to go up and down to leave on. It would be perfect if you have a small camper. But definitely not meant for larger units. Also the site itself was very unlevel and all the roads were gravel causing us to use 4 wheel drive to leave.

Great campground! Gravel road access but very peaceful and private. The owners are very helpful and considerate. I stayed for the winter and part of the spring. There is a trail going to the Woods grocery nearby that is very helpful. The laundry and showers are a nice feature here.

The campground was super cool. The community places (fire pit, bags, porch swings) were beautiful and serene. The path to the grocery store is super convenient. The Patatay Trail was fun to explore and longer than you would think, like you are in the middle of nowhere. The lake was a great place to watch the sunset. They continue to add to the amenities; their thoughtfulness for the guest experience is awesome. It was a great location to go exploring the Ozarks. Our campsite was nestled in the woods and felt like we were the only ones there. Definitely will come back!
