Dogwood Acres Resort

Our third visit to Dogwood Acres was for our 30th anniversary and it was just how we remembered it -- a great family-oriented, casual resort with everything you need for a very relaxing getaway. Cabin 7 was so perfect, very comfy and spotlessly clean. We intended to cook most of our meals and the kitchen was well-stocked with all we needed and there was a little grill right outside, too. The property is large and great for dog walking with a curious pup. We didn't take advantage of the water fun this trip, but there were families out on the swimming dock, tubing, canoeing, kayaking all afternoon and fishing in the mornings and evenings. Dogwood Acres is just such a great place and I would not hesitate to recommend it!

I have stayed at dogwood acres several years . Quite relaxing cabins on the lake of the ozarks . Indoor pool - hot tub. Boat slips for rent . Swim dock . Boating fuel station. Great owners . Always helpful to ensure their guest are comfortable and feel at home .

Our extended family has been vacationing every year at the Lake of the Ozarks for 28th years. We have been at Dogwood for the last 9-10 years. We always look forward to our stay here. There are numerous cabins to pick from, each with its own advantages, number of bedrooms, tub verses shower, etc. Beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows. Large trees are abundant and cabins are within 100 feet of the shore. We see geese, turtles, and deer every year from the resort. My niece caught a large bass just fishing off the dock. There is a fishing dock also, along with a swim/sunbathing dock shared by all cabins. Dogwood has a gas station on the lake for resort AND community use to fill up your boat, not to mention delicious snowcones now being sold at the station for $5. Our crew liked them

We stayed here for the first time over Memorial Day weekend. The owners are wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and you can tell they truly want their guests to have a good time. These are not fancy new condos. They are vintage lakeside cabins that are very clean and well taken care of and you can tell the owners are working their butts off to make improvements, but I will take clean, comfortable and affordable over shiny and expensive any day. The crappie fishing off the fishing dock was excellent. The owners are super friendly and flexible. My family loved the indoor pool, hot tub and small game room. The swimming area was nice but it was a busy boating weekend so we chose to swim off one of the swim platforms towards the back of the cove where
