Scallywag's RV Park

The owners here are so sweet and very accommodating!! We have been on the road for about a week and decided to take a side trip to see the lake and just needed a spot for the night. We were greeted with smiles and welcomed. He showed us to our spot and helped us pull in and get hooked up. Then checked on us when he passed by. Found out we needed ice and offered to go get us a bag for the night. Long story short.... awesome people, great price, amazing atmosphere!! In our happy place tonight!

We traveled from Colorado and stayed here for a week. We got in at 9:30 at night and they were waiting for us to come in. They showed us where we needed to go and helped us get set up. With previous camping experiences at other places, nobody is willing to work that late and provide that level of service. This was our very first visit to the Ozarks and had a blast! Ron, Cheryl and Jim have created a very relaxed, family and pet friendly place that we intend to return to. With quick access to Captain Rons and the lake, this spot is easy to enjoy. On the front side of the park is a huge open area that has unlimited space for any level of sports entertainment. This is hands down the best RV park I have ever been to! I have never been so sad leaving a place. I definitely left a piece of my heart there. Ron, Cheryl, and Jim were the most amazing camp hosts! The park itself was clean and tidy. The rocks and ties made everything so much cleaner and easier for the campers and captain Ron’s had the best drinks! The best part is, captain Ron’s was walking distance down the most beautiful path and set of stairs with a private beach! If your looking for the best hosts, and the best RV park, and the best beach hit up scallywags! This is going to be an annual trip for us! Can’t wait to see them next year!!! Been here 2 times in 2025 super clean grounds short walk to entertainment, food and drinks at Capitan Ron's. Level solid rock sites. Excellent place for your family or a couples retreat weekend. Close to most of what the lake community has to offer. Power was steady. No film on the top of my wife's coffee in the morning so the water is pretty good. Bring your kids your dog or just each other and have a great time. Hope to see you soon!

We just (late April 2022) had the pleasure of spending a few nights and enjoyed our experience. In January 2022 new Management took over the park and have been upgrading and improving the park since. While the physical RV park is not right on the water, access to the adjacent marina, restaurant, beach, etc. is just down a staircase. The RV park itself is almost in the geographical center of the Lake of the Ozark’s region. There are some really nice views of the lake from the park. The sites are adequate in size (38’ 5th wheel fit w/o issue). My only real complaint is the location of the trash bins; which are at the far end of the property. In talking with the new site managers - a VERY nice couple - they are working on rectifying this situation. When/if this situation is corrected,
