Papa Chubby's Lakeside Resort

We had a long off-season stay at Papa Chubby’s and overall had a positive experience. Our first site had some power issues, but the staff quickly and smoothly moved us to another site without any trouble. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making it easy to receive packages during our stay. The property features a bar and restaurant, along with lake access, which was great for relaxing. While the pool was closed during our visit, I was eager to hop in! Despite that, we enjoyed our time here and appreciated the friendly service and convenient location. Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Papa Chubby’s is always a fun stop at the Lake of the Ozarks! The food is delicious, the drinks are cold, and the lakefront atmosphere is perfect for relaxing or hanging out with friends. The staff is friendly and quick, even when it’s busy, and the live music makes it a great spot to spend an afternoon or evening. It’s one of those classic lake places you can’t help but love—definitely a must-visit!

My husband and I enjoy each time we eat at Papa Chubby’s. Fries are crispy and each time we go we try something different. We have enjoyed the shrimp tacos, pizza, Rueben and steak sandwich. Salads are also yummy. Great drinks! It is a staple for us at the lake.

Twas worth the ride, and I'll ride in again just for those Nachos. Wasn't hungry but couldnt stop eating. Such a fantastic crew they have working there. 10/10

The restaurant has always been amazing! The campground is not what it used to be. The new management company came in and raised rates knowing that we had been promised things for the last 2 years and nothing but destruction has taken place. Here it is halfway through the season and it looks the extact same. Oh they did put a metal container pool in (this was their fix for not getting the pool complete like they told me they were going to do. Plus they will take the side of an attacker rather than their campers who try to defend themselves. I would stay away if I were looking for a campsite.
