Lone Oak Point Resort

Our family has been coming here for around 28 years. Since the conversion to more corporate ownership, things have changed, and we're not fans. I.E. : 1.5 years out to reserve. : just a few months till you come, they kick you out of your reservation. : laundry might mean laundry room, not necessarily laundry machines. : premium pricing for '80s amenities. Etc. We like the relaxing atmosphere but are tired of the poor business practices.

We stayed in the airbnb on the resort so we got access to the community center. Nice outdoor and indoor pool. The hot tub was relaxing as well. The airbnb doesn’t get lakeside views like the other houses on the resort but it’s still nice area.

Great place to stay. Our condo had everything we needed. The only issue I have is the water standing on the tiles between the outdoor pool and the indoor pool. In order to get to the community room we had to walk across this wet slippery floor. I was concerned for our elderly folks walking across this floor. A rubber grid mat that lets the water through would be helpful

Amazing resort with tons of activities that you can do independently. Great for trips with family and friends!

We love this family friendly resort!!! Pool, lake, tennis, games, great cabins - it's the only place you should consider staying at the lake.
