OYO Hotel Shreveport Airport North

this place is horrible if you like roaches, the smell of cigarettes and an unsafe environment, this is the place for you. i left 15 minutes after i checked in. i didn’t care that i wasn’t going to get my refund because leaving was absolutely worth it. i wasted my money booking this place because the reviews looked good & the price made it “a steal”. little did i realize i was the one getting stolen from.

Positive: Staff was okay and changed our room Negative: There were roaches in the room and spider webs and it smelled old, the first room had roaches inside the refrigerator and live ones crawling everywhere including the bed.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... ROOMS STUNK REAL BAD .. ROACHES CRAWLING EVERYWHERE. SHOWER WAS CRACKED AND HURT MY FEET WHILE STANDING IN IT... THE AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT WAS FALLING APART AND NASTY FULL OF DUST AND MOLD..... I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

this so called motel hell is located north of the airport on monkhouse drive, just before super 8. goes by the name of shreveport value inn.. upon arriving, was greeted by friendly and courteous staff. after checking in, was confronted in the parking lot by a homeless person who begged to stay in my room. he then demanded money, not just change or a dollar, but went right up to a twenty. had to threaten calling 911 to make him go away, after i gave him 5. so i finally get into the closet, i mean the room, no, i really do mean a closet. tiny. hot. dirty. disgusting.. had a micro fridge, fridge part non working, had the iceberg that sank the titanic in there. microwave was ominously clean, like brand new. maybe thats because there were no electric outlets to plug it in to. bath

Honestly this place was so bad it made me laugh, do not stay here, this place needs to be shut down and condemed from further buisness before someone get sick from the mystery splatter on the headboard or the mold growing in the newly remodeled bathroom. What made me laugh the most is they will really ask you for a deposit. Unless it is for some bleach and a updated tetanus shot upon arrival no one is doing anymore damage than how the room comes already for guest upon check in. No just no
