You get what you pay for. Workers very kind. Office is in the truck stop not the building that says office, rooms were very dirty. No real wiping down just looks like the vacuum. Cockroach will be enjoying your stay with you, don’t see any bed bugs but definitely checked both room. No soaps at all, even to wash your hand. We had to think of it like camping, and went for it. Bed uncomfortable.. but cheap! If you want cheap then go for it! We survived, kings dominion is across the street, we walked over how ever no paths or crosswalk! Be safe

Absolutely disgusting. Booked this hotel through love holiday for 2 weeks, I would not go back if you paid me to stay! Dirty towels in the sink, rubbish in the bin and insects crawling on the bedding on the beds! ||Spoke to a man who worked there who gave us another room, that one was just as bad! Insects all over, mould all over the ceiling! I will be contacting love holidays asap because this place needs shutting down! I took my children on vacation to Myrtle Beach in August 2025 where we were supposed to stay at Capital O Sunset Hotel through OYO Hotels. The hotel was terrible. The 1st room they tried to give us didn't have a T.V or Internet. The 2nd room they tried to give us was already occupied and the 3rd and final room didn't have any toilet tissue, soap, TV channels didn't work and the toilet was stopped up to the point where I had to turn the water off at the back of the toilet. The pool was small and disgusting. The place was uninhabitable. There were broken fire alarms on the ground and walls. The hotel looked nothing like it was advertised on the OYO Hotels website. I tried for 2.5 months to get a refund but they kept denying it so I ended up paying almost $300.00 for a hotel I didn't

Location is really close to Kings Dominion. Check in was in the truck stop which sends weird, but it is a truck stop motel. They had me check the room before I paid which was interesting, but actually nice so if it wasn't "satisfactory" I wouldn't have to try to get a refund if I had refused to stay. I can confirm the report of roaches, but the need sheets and blankets were clean and free from bed bugs. Overall, you get what you pay for.

The room seemed ok. To be expected considering location to the park. Kings domain. And cost was affordable. The The roaches was ridiculous. Embarrassing matter of fact. New location wasnt an option on my end at last min. So here we are in a room hanging all of our stuff. Note to self go with your first Instinct. Other then that. It was quite, and safe-ish feeling.
