Outbound Stowe

I was happy to book this place pretty last minute with Chase points and looking forward to a quick ski trip. The location is 10/10 on the mountain road and the shuttle picks you up right outside which for that reason alone I'd consider staying here again. The staff were all super kind and helpful. The main building is definitely a remodeled older building, and the rooms look nicer in photos than in person but they aren't bad. The bed was comfy and linens were clean and comfy. I have a feeling housekeeping turned our room around kind of quickly and missed some things - it looked like the last guest took out daily contacts and piled them on the nightstand instead of throwing them away and that got missed by the cleaners. I recently spent a few nights here and enjoyed my stay in a cabin, which was very comfy and cozy. The shower was nice and I appreciated that shampoo, conditioner and body wash are included. Plus. the bed was comfortable. I didn't use it during my stay, but the pool looked very inviting. The location is great, close to the center of Stowe but far enough outside that I didn't get stuck in town traffic. The cabins have kitchens and are stocked with some pots/pans/utensils for cooking, but there are also plenty of options for food nearby. It's a great jumping off point for hikes and other excursions in the area. And the staff I interacted with were helpful and accommodating.

Positive: The lobby and rooms are modern and vibrant. Every piece of decor is gorgeous! The staff who checked us in were efficient and warm. The pool and all the surrounding activities were a huge hit with our kids. Negative: Our room had a dehumidifier and it was full already when we arrived. There was a faint musty smell to the room. There was no water available to purchase at the hotel when we arrived at night

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location. The wall heaters can be a bit loud but they work well. Beds are comfortable, and rooms give off a cabin type vibe even though most aren’t cabins. They do have cabins on site though. The front desk girl was incredibly nice and welcoming. The restaurant was great and the people who work there are outstanding and they make a great Old Fashioned cocktail.

We had such an amazing stay! The staff went above and beyond, they were incredibly kind, upgraded us for free to celebrate my birthday and our engagement, and made us feel so special from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, beautifully set up, and super comfortable. They even surprised us with a cute welcome bag filled with little goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we can’t wait to come back!
