On The Beach Motel

We decided to take a last minute trip to Old Orchard Beach without hotel reservations and stumbled upon On The Beach. What a pleasant surprise! Shirley was very pleasant and took care of us immediately. Her outgoing personality and charm made us feel like we had already known her. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. The entire property was obviously well cared for and it displayed great pride in ownership. Now that we know about this location, we will definitely be back again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We stayed 5 nights here and loved it! Everything was very clean and the staff were so friendly. The night we arrived a very nice lady called to check on us because we were a little late arriving and gave us directions and was just super friendly! Our view of the ocean was amazing and where most of the time you can hear people in the room next door, we had neighbors the whole time and never heard anyone! The shower is amazing! I can not say enough nice things about On the Beach Motel!

I am very happy with my “On the Beach” Motel stay. As someone who has never been to OOB, I didn’t know very much about it. So many accommodation choices! “On the Beach” (Old Colonial Inn) was perfect for my stay in mid June, Sunday to Thursday. The management and staff were friendly and accommodating. They run a tight ship so that the property is family friendly, safe, and relaxing. The property and rooms are very well kept; very clean, spacious, comfortable bed/bedding, and affordable. It is on the beach with views of the ocean from almost all rooms. There is a small sand dune with beach grass, roses, and other wild beach flowers dividing the motel from the sand. The beach is magnificent! It is clean and not crowded. The pool is heated, salt water and it is crystal clear! It is small but

We absolutely loved this motel. The room was clean and cute What we really loved was the staff. They were so welcoming and friendly. We have a son and they were great with him. The general manager mark is kind and friendly. Shirley went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. She is the kindest and funniest person! We will be back because we loved the location and the motel but definitely because the staff made the stay top notch!
