Ohana Retreat

Nice place in a gated community. Nice pool, orchard for fruit picking, quiet and a short 4 minute walk to the beach front. A lot of beach accessories available for day use. Close to downtown Kona and beachfront vibe.

Oh my gosh. OH MY GOSH! My sister had her wedding here on April 11th, and we stayed for a week. There were plently enough rooms and space for all the guests. The scenery was a dream, like living in a rainforest. Andrew gave us a tour of his garden and the resort. He even allowed us to pick fruits to eat whenever we wanted at no charge. The decor was also so fitting. Everything from hospitality was truly thought out. I enjoyed the pool as so did many others. When the time came for the wedding, it all made since why my sister chose it as her venue for the reception. It's the most perfect place. It's also literally a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. It's close to everything in the town, even the walmart was amazing, it overlooked the beach. It was a pleasure staying at this amazing resort.

16 members of my family recently shared this lovely plantation style home. Actually there are two on the property, and we filled one up! The rooms were large, with beautifully appointed bedrooms with comfy beds, private bathrooms, and a small area with sink, fridge and microwave. The shared kitchens were large with everything (and I mean everything), one would need to make meals. The pool is pristine. All the shared spaces large and well kept. Everything was top notch and beyond my expectations! Andrew, the on-site manager is amazing! He is so personable, knowledgeable and helpful. He goes above and beyond. If I owned a rental property ; I would like to clone him and have him take care of it. (Rather than trying to take him away from this amazing place). He clearly loves his job, the

Finally a place that feels like home and paradise at the same time! Ohana Retreat exceeded my expectations and provided a space for our large group to relax and enjoy all the Big Island offers! From a short walk to a sunset on the beach, to a short drive to town and about 20 minutes from the airport, the location was perfect! Andrew the onsite manager was such an amazing host and definitely helped us feel at “home” and was always super responsive if we had a question or needed anything at all. He gave us a great tour of the plantation which ended with some freshly squeezed juice and fresh fruit for all to enjoy. The house itself is so large and was so comfortable for our group of 16, the kitchen and house has everything you need to prepare meals.There are 2 black-stone grills and well now

Would highly recommend this retreat for large groups. From our intital inquiry to our final departure, communication and responsiveness to requests were exceptional. The grounds are stunningly beautiful with all the native flora and fruits. The house is quite spacious and provides many wonderful amenities.
