Ocean View Inn

AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! Great location, right across from the beach! Very clean and the staff is so accommodating and pleasant! We had such a great stay, we are coming back next weekend! Thank you Autumn & Anna!

If I could give a negative number, I would! STAY FAR AWAY from this place and its sister property - Ocean View Motel which is right across the street.||Started with booking a last minute girls weekend - receptionist stated that they had a "family room" with (2) separate beds. I had the room pulled up on Expedia to make sure the rates they were giving us were correct. I was quoted $270 per night plus tax which total approx $610. I asked for an emailed receipt which showed $632. I called back to question it ... I know it's only $20 but that is just shady! Same receptionist said she made a mistake on the rates and the higher price was correct. I pointed out that I was on Expedia and the rates tied with what I was quoted. She said she would honor the lower rate even though "I was wrong

Saw a sign labeled “beach parking” infront of the parking lot. Pulled in to park so we could get ice cream next door at the end of our beach day. Parking lot was almost completely empty. An Old man presumably the Owner/front desk worker came outside and started yelling at us for parking there. We explained we were just getting ice cream and would be back in 5 minutes. He said and I quote “if I rent out that room I’m going to have a hard time explaining to them why they don’t have a parking spot” we just laughed and went down the street to a different ice cream shop. My point is, for a hospitality business their customer service is very much lacking. Had he kindly asked us to move to a different spot in the lot we wouldn’t have minded but he came out aggressive. I was a little worried when the room was so much cheaper than other hotels in the area but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was not fancy in any way but it was clean and less than a 2 minutes walk to their private beach. The new management is really helping bring this place up a level. ||||You have to check in across the street front the inn at the Sandcastle Beachfront Inn and the staff and security is the same for both locations.||||It was great for my family and we look forward to going again soon
