Beautiful hidden gem. A lot of small things to do without using technology like board games, pool, and many others so you can reconnect with your better half, kids or family. You cross a road and you are literally at the beach. Breakfast was VERY GOOD. They had tea, coffee and cookies when we arrived and when I say cookies like home made delicious cookies. Now the reason I gave it 3 stars and not 5 are 3. I booked an "Ocean View Queen . . ." The rooms view was in direction of the ocean but it was first floor and there's a road that's higher level than the room so . . . no Ocean to be seen from the room. Those same rooms on the second floor must have a beautiful view though. I'm a bigger person 6' 270 lbs and the bed, even though VERY COMFORTABLE, felt like it was going to fall apart betwe

This was one of the most unusual hotel experiences we have had: some good, some bad, and some just plain odd. ||LOBBY & CHECK-IN: (1) When I entered the lobby to sign in, there was a line and long wait with no employees behind the desk. Instead, there was an impersonal computer (with a person on screen) talking to each visitor and asking several questions. Sometimes it was difficult to understand him due to the accent. 2) The lobby/breakfast area was extremely small; yet, it had some unique breakfast items which appeal to kids (such as gogurts, many sweet toppings for waffles, pudding cups, etc.) as well as a good selection of coffee creamers and additives, and biscuits and sausage gravy (which makes us southerners feel at home--lol). Positive: CLEAN!!! Location. Heated saltwater pool. Staff was Excellent. Pleasantly surprised and will stay again in April 2026 vs reg hotel. This place is amazing. Negative: Not 1 single thing was bad. Nothing.

We've stayed here several times and will continue to stay here in the future. Staff is second-to-none. On our last visit my partner accidentally left her wallet in the room, it had fallen from the table. We didn't discover until we got home, but soon after they called us to tell us they had found it and would either ship back to us or let us pick it up. Honesty, very refreshing. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds and bedding make for a very nice sleep. Directly across from a 1-acre private beach which our dog loves. Oh yeah, they are dog friendly here. There is a daily upcharge that's a little steep, we paid $75/night, but well worth it to be so close. Highly recommend Ocean Sands.

This was last minute so they struck a deal which sounded good but not sure it was worth more than one night. The beach front was actually across the road. The parking lot was small especially for our big truck. There was a robot check in that was kind of confusing and the cards didn’t work nor did the door completely shut without extra help. The desk was at least helpful to fix the cards. Only two floors but no elevator. The rooms were small and half of the lights and clock did not work and the ones that did were too bright. The tv worked but seemed fuzzy. The porch and porch light were great. Plenty of brochures for sight seeing. The toilet wasn’t properly cleaned. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! They had everything and some but seems to have run out if you were eat
