We came here to visit St Augustine for Night of Lights. This condominium resort was on the cheaper side and the room and grounds reflected the price. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was working and the pool was warmer the first night we were there, but was cooler in the following days. Nice beach access. The fitness room consisted of a couple of barbells and 3 fitness machines. I gave this place a 4 for affordability. I would stay here again. We stayed here from 12/12-12/15/25.
Condo/apartment complex that is terribly run-down and decaying rapidly. We were so excited to visit Butler Beach, near St. Augustine, but although the beach access is great at Ocean Hibiscus, the actual pools and condos are neglected by their HOA/office. The pools contained so much green algae that I was afraid to go in them. I watched a pool cleaner only skim the leaves out, and was thoroughly shocked. The beach access overlooks the next place over, which has a crystal blue pool, so this place is neglected. There are signs of wetness all over the bases of the whole set of buildings in the complex, the wood exteriors, and rotting stairs need painting and new trim. There is a musty/rot smell inside the buildings, on the pathways, and around the area. The outdoor shower closest to the beach
Went there as an exchange property through Hilton Grand Vacations. The place was infested with German cockroaches! They didn’t bother to clean the dead ones up and we saw a live one walking on the wall. We contacted management in hopes of getting moved to another property but they never called back after an hour and a half of waiting in the hot car with my family. We went to a hotel that cost us $2,000 that we shouldn’t have had to spend. I am surprised Hilton Grand Vacations didn’t vet this place. Disgusting.
Stayed in G204 and G206. Nice size and layout but primary shower had a lot of mold! DISGUSTING! Cabinet under the sink in the lockout unit was moldy as well. Fridge leaks water onto kitchen floor. There are no on-site office staff, so texted staff with pictures. They said so sorry, they would send cleaners. 4 days later someone came and nothing seems cleaner. Would not recommend.
Great vacation. However you need to bring your own paper products as you cannot get refills. The rooms were clean and good sizes. Pool was beautiful and the beach was very close.
