Ocean 1 Hotel & Suites

We really like Ocean 1 and stay 1-2 times a year. They have some oceanfront and ocean view rooms with nice balcony. No pool or laundry and parking can be difficult. Staff is very nice and location is awesome. Some rooms have jacuzzi. Elevator is quick. Nice size tv. I recommend you bring plastic cups, silverware and plates).

We had a n oceanfront room on the 5th floor. Great view of the beach, boardwalk and sunrise! Friendly staff and the few things that needed addressed in our unit was taken care of immediately. They are nice size studio rooms especially for 2 people. The murphy beds are comfortable and easily pulled down. We made a sleeping area with one bed and moved a couch and dining table and chairs for a living area to watch TV and the ocean. The deck area is a good size with chairs and mini table. The towels were excellent quality and could be exchanged twice a week. The kitchen area is very small but manageable for light cooking. Nice pantry area for supplies, Adequate size stove, microwave and refrigerator. We had an enjoyable stay with many activities in the area and stores close by too. Easy direct

The room offered a beautiful oceanfront view and was overall spacious, with a large bathroom stocked with shampoo and body wash. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the stay more pleasant. The balcony came with two chairs and a table, providing a lovely spot to enjoy the ocean view. That said, there were a few drawbacks. While the bedroom appeared clean, the headboard had a noticeable layer of dust. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were too soft, offering little support. The property itself felt a bit outdated. Parking was also inconvenient—on-site parking was limited to loading and unloading only, with the designated lot located two blocks away across the main street. Noise was another concern, particularly on the second floor where boardwalk activity carried

We were a little concerned by reading the reviews. We had an incredible stay. Very close to the boardwalk, rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. We had an ocean front, but the location could not be beat. Will definitely stay again.

I edited this review to 5 Stars because the manager and the staff deserve it. This is not the Four Seasons if you are expecting luxury this is not it. However, budget friendly with a great location, clean, safe, and good staff. The rooms are not fancy just bare minimum but for a quick night or two trip to the ocean and boardwalk the location is perfect. It was clean enough that I didn’t feel gross, the sheets and pillows had fresh, clean, stain free linens. I have read the 1 star reviews and I did not find any signs of bugs, I had countless towel exchanges, parking is as described 1 spot per room a block and a half away, and the staff was around and cleaning all day. My biggest issue was the key card had to be replace every single time I closed the room door. Sometimes it wouldn’t eve
