Oak Island Campground ️

My husband and I were a late night check in. The lady answering the phone could not have been sweeter. Such a blessing for weary travelers like us. Would love to come back and stay a little longer! The location seems perfect.

Just wanna give a shout out to the friendly staff who helped answer all our questions. New owners have made this simple campground look amazing! This was our first experience renting an RV for a beach vacay & it was such a fun adventure. Very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Oak Island Campground was the perfect place for my friend and me to rest and relax and enjoy the beach! The campsite was large and spacious and upon arrival we were immediately greeted and assisted with set up. After giving my friend and me a ride to the beach in the morning, they checked in throughout the day to make sure we were doing ok after a rain storm popped up. Any problems we had were addressed immediately and no fun time was lost at all! The bath houses are top notch and kept super clean. We didn’t bring our dogs but we will next time because there is a fantastic dog walk area. We will definitely be returning for future trips!

A small camp ground with character and charm inherited by family. We were welcomed in with smiles.The bathrooms and showers are well taken care of and have the cutest boats by the doors. There is a nice dog walk and even with no pool they are centrally located to the beaches and restaurants. There is a cabana with a large TV and hammocks.

We stayed here for a week while checking out Oak Island and Southport. Great location - very convenient. Very nice folks running the place. Love the dog walk and observation/sun deck. We didn't use the shuttle but seems like a really good idea. No issues with spacing as others thought, in fact, they are very well spaced considering the size of the place. We liked it so much we rented an additional RV for my son's family. Had a great time!!
