Nova Hotel Bronx

I recently stayed at Nova Hotel in the Bronx and had a solid experience overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and feels newly updated. The rooms aren’t super big, but they’re comfortable and designed well for a short stay. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was spotless, and everything felt well-maintained. I appreciated how quiet it was at night — which isn’t always easy to find in NYC. The staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Location-wise, it’s convenient if you’re staying in the Bronx or visiting nearby areas. It’s not luxury, but it’s definitely clean, comfortable, and a good value for the price. I’d stay again 👍

Health Hazard – Refund Refused for Mouldy, Unclean Room I cannot recommend this hotel. From the outset, staff were unprofessional, and the common areas had a strong smell of smoke. Issues experienced: Hygiene: Hair was found in the bed, and there was thick mould and rust on the radiator. Check-in: No flexibility for early check-in, which would have been understandable if the room had actually been clean and ready by the 3 PM check-in time. Management: We checked out immediately due to the condition of the room. It then took multiple attempts to reach anyone. When contact was finally made, the manager refused a refund and offered only a credit for a future stay. IF YOUR GOING TO THE BROX THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!!! MY Daughter and I stayed here for one night to see the Yankees Game. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Check in was simple. Parking was easy and there were plenty of spots right front of the main entrance. When we received our room key we were told we were downstairs, I asked if we could have a room on the 1st or second fl no problem just like that we had a room on the second fl. We had 3 pieces of luggage all on the heavy side The gentleman behind the counter helped us carry them up to the second floor non the elevator. The room was clean the bed was so comfortable I slept in way past checkout time They allowed us to stay for a small fee. I wish all hotels did this!!!! I unfortunately have to change my once positive review to a very negative one. I have stayed at this place on and off for awhile and have had very few issues until today. I checked out late as requested and chilled out in the lobby and ran some errands while my bags were in the lobby. They usually never have a problem with this but when I came back to grab my things and use the restroom I was rudely asked what my room number was. I told them I had checked out earlier that day, and upon returning from the restroom an Indian man working the front desk YELLED at me that I was no longer allowed at the property and that they will call the police if I enter again. Mind you I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars here so to be repaid with no respect and a random ban for no reason is HORRENDOUS. They too
