Norway Hills Resort

Just returned from an incredible stay at the Norway Hills Resort, and I have to share how amazing this place is! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The lake itself is absolutely breathtaking—crystal clear water surrounded by lush greenery that looks like it’s straight out of a painting. Whether you’re lounging by the shore, kayaking, or just taking in the view, the lake provides an unbeatable backdrop for relaxation. The land surrounding the lake is equally stunning. It’s a perfect mix of open spaces and wooded trails that are ideal for hiking and exploring. I can’t get over how well-maintained and beautiful the entire area is. I've been to Norway Hills for over 10 years in a row and it is always great. You won't find cabins any cleaner and owners any more friendly. Frank and Pat are great hard working people that love what they do and it shows. If you are a die hard fisherman you will love this place. Cabins come with your own personal locker next to your dock. There is power access at the end of your dock for you to charge your batteries. As for cleaning fish I'm not sure you'll ever find a nicer cleaning house. Great stainless steel table, sealed concrete floor and hot and cold water. It is huge and nice to work in. Only downside is I can't go more often. We have stayed in almost all of the cabins that they have and all of them are great options.

Norway Hills is a great little resort for Northern Minnesota. The owners/operators are a fantastic couple and really work hard to keep the resort in top shape. The cabins are extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchens have all the necessities and have plenty of room to work in. The bathrooms are clean and for our 3BR cabin there were 2 full baths, which was very nice since there were multiple couples trying to clean up in the morning. The grounds are well kept with a nice playground, basketball hoop and volleyball net. There is a lodge for indoor activities with a ping pong table that came in very handy on rainy days. The beach was also very nice with a sand pile and swings for the kids, and a large fire pit. We also rented a pontoon that was extremely easy to use and hardly use

My family and I have been enjoying this hidden gem for half a decade. The cabins are super clean and well maintained, as are the boats and the beach is sandy and perfect. Frank and Pat, thank you for giving three generations of my family a slice of paradise every year.

Cabin was beautiful, clean, and well equipped with everything you need. Owners are the sweetest people ever.
