Northwoods Motel

The rooms have all been remodeled in the last few years and are really nice. They are much nicer than other hotel and motel options we have stayed at in Hayward including the Riverside, AmericInn, Flat Creek Lodge, and Super 8. Owners are very personable as well. This is our go to motel for the Birkie and will continue to be.

This motel was extremely clean. The rooms are up to date. There was a small fridge and freezer in room. There were paper plates napkins and utensils in the room as well. Makeup wash clothes were a huge bonus!!The staff is very friendly and courteous. They give you a free bag of ice daily!! That has never happened anywhere else I have stayed. The fire pit and patio tables outside of every room was a delightful addition !! I will definitely be going back!!!

Rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. Owners Stew and Denise very welcoming, highly recommended. "Thank you" for a enjoyable stay.

What an absolute wonderful place to stay. I was in room #1, it was newly remodeled, and the craftsmanship surely showed. The bathroom/kitchenette is perfect. This place is owned by one family, and they are super accommodating and very nice people. As I left early every morning and drink plenty of coffee, they brought me in my own coffee maker, large enough to fill my thermos. The best overall thing at this Motel is how clean it is and the room smells wonderful. I also enjoyed the nice sized reclining chair. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

My second stay at this great Motel. You will not find a cleaner quaint place to stay. My situation made me cut my stay short one day, there was no question about getting a refund for that day. Wonderful people that own this place. If you stay here you will be 100% satisfied.
