Dun Rovin Resort

Horrible. First time there was 2015 they haven’t updated ANYTHING. Couch arms have no filling. Entry door frame was falling apart. Notes in the cabin are outdated. Says there’s ice to buy but the machine is off. It’s like they literally just collect money and forget the rest. Our porch deck had a hole in it we filed in so our toddlers foot didn’t fall in it. They require you to reserve your cabins for the next year after your stay. We did so and then they emailed only months later that the cabins we had weren’t available any longer. Luckily we didn’t have the number of people we expected to come or that would’ve been a huge problem. Rented a pontoon boat which it was fine. Damaged the prop and they threatened court if we didn’t pay fast enough. They didn’t have before pictures but of cour

I see all the reviews are 2018 and older. We have been going there every year for the last six years. Our goal was relaxing and fishing and we got in plenty of both. It is a very nice place. They have ice and firewood available but you must bring your own food and bait. The restaurant has been closed for several years.

Dun Rovin resort was very nice place to go to for a vacation and the fishing was good. The cabins sits right on the lake, there was no walking up or down a hill to get to the lake. The boat docks were very nice and modern. Just down a small ramp and your to your boat. The grounds were well kept, cabins very modern and clean. The owner Ed was very nice made you feel very welcome. I would recommend this resort to everyone. The lodge was nice but didn't have food yet but they were opening the kitchen around June 15,2017. Talked with other people at the resort and they all had very good remarks about the resort. Thanks to Ed and his staff for making our family trip a success. The resort we stayed at last year just down the road from here we would never return or give a review it

This was our first visit to the Chippewa Flowage and Dun Rovin Lodge came highly recommended. Everything about our family's fishing trip was excellent! We rented the Lund and fished everyday without exception. The on-site manager was very courteous and attentive but did not hover. The cabin was wonderful for a family of four adults with a cozy living room, very nice sleeping accomodations, modern kitchen and a clean and efficient bathroom. The grounds are very well kept and we enjoyed the early stages of color in the trees with a beautiful view of the water from the porch. The fish house provided enough room to properly clean our catch. ||||We brought our own food but ventured to nearby Hayward twice to get provisions (food and bait) and visit the shops in town. We loved the location and quietness of this resort. The furniture in the cabins was a little outdated and not very comfortable. Keith the ground keeper was amazing to work with. Great location and we never got bored with the big body of water!
