Chip-Wa Lodging

Our family stayed at the house at Chip-Wa-Motel this year in July. This place is Amazing!! It has three beautiful bedrooms, two with king size beds! A great kitchen and big living room. It is spacious and beautifully decorated, I wish I had the decorating skills that Ellen has, every little detail is perfect! They have games for the kids, and a spacious back yard for family and kids, if needed! Can't wait to come back here every year for our family summer vacation!!

There was a mix up with reservations and the owner got it all worked out, was super friendly. The rooms are small but cozy. Comfortable beds! Not to mention, the back is right up by the woods and has a huge open area. Charcoal grill and little chairs to sit outside in front and back. Price was great too! I’d definitely recommend coming here!

What a cute room! Plenty of room for our needs. I was not expecting to have USB ports right next to the beds... but there were! Having a digital door code was great. The only drawback was the cell service in that area is very low and spotty it was hard to communicate with the motel staff and the outside world by phone or text. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Great place to stay. Right on snowmobile trail/ATV, gas station close, and two bars/restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are small but cozy. Beds and pillows were comfortable also. Very clean and fresh. Plus have 12 cup coffee pot with excellent local coffee. Would definitely stay again. For the price and location its a great deal!

Husband and I were up there for a mini-getaway and had some business to attend to. Didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a room and have seen Chip-Wa in the past so decided to try them. Had a room with two double beds, the room was quite large and roomy. Very clean. We had to bring our own pillows, blankets and towels due to Covid which in my opinion wasn't a big deal. Jack was helpful with the reservation and Jo was great at check in! Highly recommend, great value for the money.
