Mystic Moose Resort

We have stayed at this resort for two years in a row, and it is every bit a five-star resort. Joel and Sarah are fantastic hosts and always make sure that our needs as guests are met. They are more than happy to answer calls prior to our arrival and offer advice on what we'll need for our stay. For each of our stays, Joel has taken the time to take us out on his boat to show us potential fishing spots. Throughout our visits, he has always checked in to see if we were successful fishing and offered advice on other spots on the lake to try. We always look forward to our stays and are excited about spending another week here next year!

Our four families had the pleasure of staying at the Mystic Moose for a week in July. We rented 3 of the 4 cabins. The cabins were very clean and the kitchens were equipped with everything we needed. We rented a pontoon boat and Lund fishing boat for the week. The boats were in great condition and allowed us to explore the beautiful lake. Upon arrival, Joel took us on a boat ride and showed us fishing and swimming spots. Joel and Sara live on the property. It was nice knowing they were close by in case we needed anything. They even have a bait shop (worms, leeches and minnows) and a small store with all the basic needs. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded spot for a vacation, Mystic Moose is the place. Joel and Sara, thank you very much for making our trip a success!

This place is absolutely breathtaking. Joel and Sara take care of everything there. The nicest people. The cabins were very clean. The views were spectacular. They had canoes and kayaks and games to play and a paddle boat for free to use. Plus tons more things to do. It was so amazing to walk out the front door to the pier to fish. I’m already looking forward to next year. Thank you Joel and Sara!!

This was our first vacation in 12 years. I have to say if you love to fish, yet hate crowds and jet skiers everywhere, this is a little chunk of heaven nestled in the north woods. Joel and Sara Miller are the new owners, and I must say some of the best people I've met in a long time. The cabins are spotless, the grounds are well manicured, live bait on sight, are just a few of the many reasons why we will be coming back. The fishing was great!! Joel put us on the fish immediately. First time fishing stained water made me nervous. By the end of the week, I am confident next year will be even better. But what is nice, is the Millers treated us like family. Cheers Joel and Sara!! Have a great season, we will see you next year.

Mystic Moose is one of the most peaceful resorts I've been too. The owners are incredibly friendly and treat you like family. Joel offered us some Chicken of the woods mushrooms he foraged, and Sara asked if we needed anything from town when she had to run errands. The cabins are neat and cozy, and have everything you need for a nice and peaceful stay. They offer kayaking, boat rentals, and paddle boats. They have a great place for a bond fire and keep stock of wood, playground for kids to play in, and WIF!!!
