Ghost Lake Lodge

We have been going to Ghost Lake Lodge for 18 years. It’s been a truly great vacation for us. The current owners have truly made it special by making us feel like family.The cabins are historic and lovely each with a pier and gorgeous lake views. The lodge is wonderful for a pizza, a can of Hamm’s, a Bloody Mary, or just a conversation. It’s just a wonderful experience, especially in Fall!

We have been going to Ghost Lake Lodge for 17 years and just love returning in the Fall. Peaceful. The family involved in maintaining and running the lodge are beyond wonderful and make it like home. The friendship and spirit when visiting is so incredible. A must to visit. We stay in Cabin 0 and love the privacy and easy access to the pier, only 10’ away! Carrie and Wade are beyond wonderful hosts during your stay. We can’t imagine a more wonderful place to rest and get away!||We left some wood for next year!

Absolutely fabulous Northwoods resort tucked away in a great location. Trials right to the property for recreation. Super helpful, friendly owners that obviously care for their cabins and guests. 💕🎣🏡

Had a phenomenal time at Ghost Lake Lodge. It's an absolute throwback to a simpler time. The hosts will do anything you need to accommodate your stay! Wonderful family running the Lodge! We had everything we needed, fresh air, great scenery and lots of trails in the area you can walk. And you can bring your pets! ( owners approval) The only caution I would say is there are a lot of tree roots around the cabins ( ours anyway ) which could be a tripping factor to some. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, with wifi and all the latest, then look elsewhere m. This is your chance to reconnect with nature and the simple things!! Highly recommend!!

Ghost Lake Lodge is a hidden gem in the Wisconsin Northwoods. I stayed at Ghost Lake Lodge in Cabin 5 for a week in June, with three other adults and a small dog. Cabin 5 has a great location, was very clean, felt like it had been recently renovated, and had a perfect screened in porch that we used everyday. Cabin 5 and the Lodge are as advertised - private, quiet, and nostalgic to an earlier era. The accommodations are quaint, efficient, and cozy. The cabin was stocked with enough essentials to get our stay started, including towels, linens, a Weber Grill, picnic table, and fire pit. We rented a fishing boat that was waiting for us at our private dock when we arrived. The Lodge was great for gathering with more of our family that stayed in Cabins 3, 4 and 10.
