Beautiful, serene location for a perfect getaway to unwind without the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Rustic-styled cabins create the northwoods ambience you’d expect from the Hayward area. Great fishing with private docks. Super relaxing!

My husband and I chose this location for our week-long vacation for this summer due to it's location on Lost Land Lake (and it being a Quiet Lake with no jet skis, etc.). The owners are several generations of a very nice family. They even were nice enough to mail me the items that I accidentally left there. It is very family friendly, but that does not mean you won't see couples without children or groups or singletons of fishermen staying here as well. They offer a sing along event one night during the week which was a lot of fun. Our cabin (The Spruce) was very nice with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds, a shockingly decent size bathroom, and even a fireplace (although we didn't use it). It is one of the cabins that is a bit further from the Lodge and someday

We enjoyed 4 full wonderful days in the Cedar cabin. This is a rustic lodge - not for the bougie crowd. Situated lakeside we were surrounded by trees and cute chipmunks, squirrels, ducks, turkey, deer, loons, and coots. Cell service is shotty but wasn’t a big deal to us. Don’t expect to be waited on hand and foot - the owner is a sweet man but this isn’t an at your beck and call type of place. We were totally okay with that. We were sad to leave after having enjoyed such a relaxing time on the lake.

Great place for quiet and relaxation! The bar was great place to hang out at night with fair priced drinks and very friendly staff! Can't wait to come back and visit again!

Staying at Northland Lodge every summer is the highlight of my year! I've been going up to Northland Lodge for the past 7 years with my husband's family and every year, it's the perfect vacation. The cabins are homey and the scenery is beautiful. Located on Lost Land Lake, if you're looking for a relaxing getaway to escape to and enjoy beautiful nature, this is the place to go. Family owned and operated, the staff is friendly and accommodating. We spend most of our days out fishing on Lost Land and Teal lakes, then at night we head to the lodge to catch up with old friends. With so many returning/regular guests, it's like everyone is family, and I've felt welcomed from my day 1 of my first visit. It's a great place for all ages.
