If the option to give 0 stars was an option, truly would. Staff that are never outside the office or even known to be there come demanding rules that are not even followed by staff of any level. Staff rules are always referred to but never addressed when the staff doesn’t follow them. Understanding staff and residents is different but if building rules are set then all rules need to be abided by residents and staff or there is no structure. Unknown staff members need more respect towards residents because life happens to all and tables do turn. Without corrective action, thumbs on scales will result in tables turning.

In the beginning, I didn’t mind being here — but as time went on, things started to come to the surface. The Security Guard Supervisor in the mornings, an older gentleman, is respectful and treats you like a human being. The ladies on first shift are also very kind and professional. I especially admire Ms. O, one of the security supervisors, for the calm and respectful way she handles situations. She explains things clearly, without making anyone feel targeted or disrespected. When Ms. Farlene, the former director, was removed, I had hope that things would improve. Unfortunately, it feels like the energy in this place has only gotten more tense and unpredictable. I, unfortunately, needed to be sheltered. I will say that this facility is very clean. The staff, for the most part, are kind and helpful. I also like that you cannot loiter in front of the building. The part that I do not like is not their fault, it's NYC's. The food that they are serving really could be better. Before this, I was paying property taxes, income taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes. The least NYC can do is give us food that they would at least give their own dogs. Thank you.

The staff are very helpful in every possible way. Everyone hangout like family. The rooms are very clean.

This is my home now and I love all security people there are wonderful people and very human
