Nags Head Beach Hotel

The staff is really nice. My only complaint is that the room seemed like it should be deep scrubbed, carpets cleaned etc as it had an old smell to it near the door when you walk in. It is a pet friendly room so probably some dogs have been urinating in the room. I kept my flip flops on at all times while walking on those floors.

I loved this hotel. The price was phenomenal for what you are getting. You are across the street from the beach, but the walk is very fast and straight. The pool was really nice and a bit larger than what you usually find at beach hotels. The room was clean and spot on. Hotel staff was also really good. For breakfast, they had sausage and egg biscuits, bagels, waffles pre-made, toast, coffee, juices, milk. etc. Coffee and hot tea is available for free in the lobby all day long. I got all of this for just $107 a week night during the month of August.

We was on 3rd floor, clean room good smell! Not bad at allllll ! Great stuff ,very kind and professional! Coffee 24h. Only 4 stars is I CANT BELEIVE VERY often no signal on TV no internet connection! Why ??? Come on. Some place bfr I stayed room would have weird smell and not clean. This is not case with this hotel. Pool is good too !

I had taken my wallet into my room and left it there. My fiance paid for everything during the trip. We had put all our cash together and just had him carry it. Thought I had put it away. Get home and no wallet anywhere. Call hotel and no wallet found in room. I called the next day as instructed to check with housekeeping. They would go over the room one more time, and shared my concern that it might have been stolen with the lady at the front desk and she just was extremely rude in explaining to me her housekeeping staff had been there 5 years and no ones ever stolen anything. Good for her for standing up for her staff but it was a legitimate concern and she could have spoken to me in a nicer manner. I was not rude once so it was very un-called for. Will not being going back just because

Very unimpressed. We couldn't check-in for at least 40 minutes past the 4 pm check-in time. In their words they said the room was still filthy. When we finally made it to the room, it was a crackerbox with one of the most uncomfortable king sized beds I have ever laid on. The cable tv signal was in and out due to a weak signal all evening long. Bad experience. We won't be back.
