Musky Tale Resort

Stopped in to have pizza. Sat at a table and nobody bothered to help us. Finally after 15-20 minutes the bartender yelled and told us that we needed to order at the bar. No problem. We had to ask for menus. Then went to the bar and ordered our drinks and pizzas. Our group ordered 3 different kind of pizzas. They brought them to our table. When we got the last one, we asked for more napkins. Their was only 3 in the case that they gave us, the lady never said a word, she just turned and walked to the bar. We all thought she wasn’t going to do anything, but she asked the bartender for more and then placed them in the case. Never saying a word or even a smile. So now let’s talk about the pizza. Not only is the pizza enjoyable, but the atmosphere is too. Thrice in the last month we've visited and each time we were comfortable. Once with friends, once on our own and once with children. There's no rush and for the kids, Musky Tale was accommodating enough to let us order ahead of time so the pizza was ready when we arrived. Who does that? We were able to watch our game and no pressure to get more drinks. Laid back but not unattended. The Northwoods kind of thing. PLUS the Cubbies won. Great game - a nail biter and . . .

We actually live on the Musky Tale property from May - Sept as we own an RV there. We had visited many times before we decided to buy and we've always been impressed by the staff, their friendliness, helpfulness and of course Lisa, the owner. We've been there for 3 years now, and have truly loved the way the Musky Tale community has accepted us into their family! Being right on the Flowage, serving top rate food, and having one of the best "shirt rooms" to buy merchandise from only adds to this wonderful resort, campground, bar and grill! My family has been coming up here for over 30 years. Musky Tale has always been a must go to place. The food is great and the service is outstanding and friendly. The apparel is far better quality than other resorts.

I have been a seasonal camper here for years, and love everything about this place. The food and drinks at the restaurant are great, the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience there. Accommodations are clean and you can’t beat the views. 100% recommend this place for a wonderful up north experience!
