Murray Hotel

First time visiting, we chose this quaint, Clean, nice staff, hotel right in the mix of everything. close by to walk everywhere. The room is clean and we're on the backside, and it was quiet, big window with chairs to have our morning coffee and watch the carriages stroll by. the bed was comfortable. They had all the amenities we needed. I wish they had more outdoor seating. The large rooftop hot tub was so perfect to soak after a long day of walking.

Checking in and out was easy. The front desk staff were helpful and courteous. The location is great - near the east side of the downtown where there are public bike racks for overnight parking and a market on the corner. The rooms are small, but it’s an older hotel and that was to be expected. The pool is more of a large hot tub. It was very clean, though, and what we needed after walking and riding bikes all day. We would stay here again

Stay on the Island with my older sister. Our first time actually staying at a hotel on the Island. Our hotel room was smaller and unfortunately the elevator was broken and we were on floor 3 and had to use the stairs. Other than that. It was a great Stay. Love how the Murray Hotel is so close to many shops and restaurants. The spa pool was amazing it felt therapeutic to be in there. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't buy any of the fudge in the shop but it looked delicious. My sister enjoyed the free coffee and I enjoyed the free doughnuts. ☺️. They have many paintings including a lower level with many paintings. And quotes written on the rafters of many notable figures. Nice touch. There's also a small kitchen and sitting area. Where you can get mexican dishes

We visited the Murray hotel to purchase fudge and dine for breakfast and lunch during our annual October visit to Mackinac Island. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay in the hotel because the accommodations had closed the weekend before our arrival, for the season. Next year we will arrange our trip to assure we arrive before they close. The Murray Hotel is a perfect location and outstanding accommodations.|So....during our week on the island we had breakfast a couple of mornings at the Amigo Burrito Cafe in the hotel lobby and lunch several days. Great food, hot, fresh, pleniful, friendly staff, and certainly a fair price.|Don't miss visiting this hotel if you plan a trip to Mackinac Island. And....visit their fudge counter and take some home.|You won't regret it.

Stayed here for a weekend trip and it was very nice! Staff were very nice and accommodating as well. Very convenient location right in the middle of the main town. There are no fridges or coffee machines in the rooms, but if you need anything kept cold the front desk will store it for you. There is breakfast/lunch in the lobby, but you have to pay for it. They do give out free coffee and donuts. The hotel has a fudge place in the lobby and it’s the best fudge in my opinion! They do have a decent sized spa hot tub outdoors that was very nice after a long day of biking. If you are into paranormal/haunting I heard this place amongst most of the island has activity. We stayed in room 234 and I woke up in the morning to our faucet running and heard knocking. Highly recommended staying here as i
