Muncie Place Hotel & Suites

Employees are very accommodating. Front desk charged us 2 different rates for a 2 night stay. When we complained said it what was what the market price was. That should be explained when we checked on. It is not a luxury hotel. Employees are really trying to go above customer service.Ftont desk won't change their charges.wont be staying again

I got mixed up on the IHG site and booked this hotel by accident. In November 2025 they are in the process of un-holiday-inn-express-ing themselves. So the signage is poor and the place looks a little sketchy. Hopefully that is temporary.||Inside the hotel was pleasant enough. Basically similar to a tired Fairfield Inn or a really nice Comfort Inn. The price was reasonable and I thought I got a good value. Someone on staff really likes to decorate so their were cute, seasonal decorations outside and in which I appreciated.

We had a perfect stay. The front desk was fast, efficient, and very friendly. Our room was probably the cleanest we've ever experienced along with no unpleasant odors when arriving, which to us is important. The breakfast selection was great and continuously stocked. Coffee was always available as well. Would recommend staying at this property!

Would not recommend. Definitely got the $120 we spent, but even then, we overspent. The pool was overpowering of salt and the safety rails and ladder was broken or loose. No hot tub even though it’s pictured on their google page. Rooms are outdated and dark. I’m concerned rooms don’t get cleaned well because a garbage bag was covering the smoke alarm. The breakfast was okay, but the sitting room for it has only 5 tables for the 80+ rooms in the hotel. The worst part and the reason for the review: During the breakfast, I made the bad call and allowed my daughter to go to breakfast without shoes. Well the key card at the door didn't work had to scan it 10 different times my card never worked the coffee maker didn't work they say the hotel's going under some renovations soon but I don't think they're soon enough it probably should have been done 10 years ago had to move rooms because it's so loud when someone's walking above you so now we're at the 3rd floor if you get a room here ask for the 3rd floor so no one will be above you and ask to be towards the parking lot because the road noise on the other side is pretty insane About midnight or 1 o'clock it finally calms down but otherwise you'll be dealing with everyone with no muffler trying to cruise back and forth in a very boring town of Muncie
