Best Western Muncie

The hotel was supposed to be non-smoking. The whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. It got a little better when we set the AC fan to constant, but was still ever present. The whole place needs a deep clean and the no smoking rules need to be enforced.

Positive: Quiet Negative: Pool was closed.

Room was clean, smelled good. Hot tub was my favorite place. Staff is helpful and provides immediate attention to our needs. Will definitely return here. Prices are affordable and reasonable.

Don’t go here in the winter if you plan to use the pool. The thermostats read 50-60 degrees because the heaters couldn’t keep up with all the windows letting cold air in. The pool water itself was rather cool as well. The bathroom sink outlets didn’t work in the rooms and the hotel called my cell at 1am but couldn’t explain why when I asked the next morning. Rooms were clean though so that was good.

Room was dirty, smelled of vomit, toilet did not flush properly, dirty socks left in dresser from previous guest. When I went to report the issues. I had to wait for 10 minutes to have someone find the desk clerk. I was not offered any compensation and paid $187 for 1 night in this hotels whirlpool room. I had asked to be able to check out 1 hour later and was going to be charged an extra $30 for that hour. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER BEST WESTERN HOTEL!!!
