Mountainside Resort at Stowe

2 stars. The "dont drink the water" thing, where you walk back up those stairs, and up the hill to the pool building to get water, dont forget the sketchy glass jugs on top of the fridge which may or may not be clean. We didnt know what unit we would be in when booked, not familiar. There is no "front desk" - you call somebody and they send you info for the unit and door access code. Yeah they probably dont change the code. So we had to travel down three stories of stairs with icy shoes on. The door to the place didnt open all the way, had to scrape the floor. There was not enough parking on the busy nights. The sauna was out of order on president's day weekend. My 12 year old hated the icy cold to suddenly scalding shower. Thank goodness they have a plunger for when someone forget

Location is conveniently located halfway between the lift and downtown Stowe, with the ability to walk into Stowe or shuttle to lifts. While seated in our dining room we gaze over the valley and trees toward the farmers market. Lovely and peaceful.

Relly nice place with an awesome view and nice amenities. The hot tub and pool area were nice and well kept. The only bad thing I saw was that the fireplace did not work, but otherwise, very good location and room is exactly what we wanted. Also, stow is like 10 minutes away, so really convenient.

Worst rental we've ever been part of...we rented in J 3 yrs ago and it was great...in F this year unit #303 and F is exactly what we got ...Do Not Rent This Unit under any circumstance.....under no drink/use of water notice...no hot water....dirty / unclean inside...original everything inside and nothing updated....drains don't drain...toilets slow to flush. Refrigerator leaks inside...internet went out after dinner yoday....no response from anyone....save your money and pick a rental somewhere else...

Great condo and location. We saw great shops, dining, coffee, motels around our condo.
