Mountain Shadows Resort

We had an amazing stay for our 11th anniversary. We stayed with them for our 2nd anniversary the first time and just had to go back. They offer other romance packages as well that tou can add to your stay. We got the same cabin as last time (#4) which is also dog friendly and we love that. The cabin was clean and comfortable and so so private. It has a full size hot tub in the room, a fire place and kitchenette. A king size bed and full bathroom. We love the privacy and waking up to seeing all the wildlife that walks through the property. We will definitely be back for our next anniversary ❤️

We absolutely love to stay here! It is always clean and comfortable and most of all PRIVATE! If your looking for that far away feeling where you can be alone with your loved one or family but still close enough to town to get some amazing food... this is the spot! The cabins are clean and comfy and the staff are amazing while still not being right there with you on your vacation. |Its hands down our favorite place to stay in Estes Park! The wild life is literally right outside your door and sometimes even on your porch in the mornings. The cabin we always stay in is even dog friendly! They have boardgames and movies to borrow from the main office but with a private hot in your cabin we never seem to find time to borrow the boardgames. This is the first bed and breakfast (at the time) that we ever visited. Since then, the place has changed hands several times. On our last visit, we were left without towels and soap. They were prompt to correct the situation but seriously? There are no more amenities like breakfast either at the main house nor in the room. I guess it's just easier to cut it out completely rather than retain some semblance of a cozy resort. They maintain the property well so the paths are clear albeit poorly lit. The path light right outside of our cabin was knocked off of its base and laying in the snow. No one seemed to notice or care except us. I picked it up and reattached it to the base. It worked fine so instead of walking by it, why not take some pride in the property and screw the lid back on? The

It was perfect for a quick getaway. Clean cabin. The hot tub in the room was a nice touch. Dog friendly, private, cool vibes, great service.
