Motel 6 Wichita, KS

I have been staying at this hotel for over a month for my husband's job. I think I can give you some clear information about my stay. 1. They have changed owners so if you see negative reviews everything is changing. 2. If you are staying here for a long time I recommend that if you need a change of sheets or blankets you talk to the cleaning staff and they will kindly do it. 3. They are remodeling a large part of the facilities, as I said before, they have changed owners and I think they are doing a very well. 4. Many workers stay here so at night you will see the hotel completely full. At first it surprised me a lot but then I got used to it. 5. Every time I thought about a motel I thought about dirt but here the cleaning staff do it very well so don't worry about that. If you're a smok

The price of the room was good considering I had an animal with me. The smell was good and space comfortable. Other than that the location is sketchy with people hanging around, the towels have holes, the flooring is uneven and missing in some areas. There are burn marks in the comforter which is a non smoking room! Doesn’t look like they do any deep cleaning: the doors, walls are stain and dirty. The dog area is small, not well lit, poop every where and location is unsafe in the far back of building!! I walked my border collie in the front by the office and thank goodness my husband was there.

It's rather unfortunate that I have to review this place so low, as the employees are amazing. Sadly enough, the beds are cheap and the shower doesn't get very hot. The TV had several channels that were just frozen for some reason. And last but very not least, there were roaches in the phone and the microwave. The beds are clean, the rooms are clean, there's just roaches.

Positive: "" Negative: There was literal blood on the walls on my room, and not old blood, this was fresh. The blankets all had burn holes in them, the room smelled of animal urine, and there are people knocking on your door at all hours of the night

I stay here quite frequently and do not stay at any other motel or hotel on the west kellogg strip. The beds are my favorite. Its like sleeping on plushy clouds. The circular shower is to die for. The room gets icy cold with the fabulous AC or hot and toasty with equally fabulous heater. The establishment is close to a lot of great amenities and hidden nature trails. The manager is super friendly, accommodating and friendly with his super cute beard. The staff is all wonderful and very friendly I highly recommend staying at this motel 6 location. Its the best one in Wichita hands down no comparison. Motel 6 West Kellogg Airport for the win!! Good job guys ill be coming back for more stays for sure!!! :)
