Motel 6 Wichita, KS – South I-35

The sheets were stained and I’m not sure they had been cleaned. The mattress covers were severely stained. Found black hair on top of them. Needless to say I didn’t sleep very well thinking about all that. I would have moved but it was late and it didn’t seem to bother my husband. So we stayed. Yuck.

We stayed in this motel on a recent road trip in May 2025. We requested a non smoking room , but the cigarette smoke was very prevalent in the room. The room was clean , but the grounds were dirty mostly with scattered cigarette butts. The beds were good The ice machine was great and the refrigerator worked fine. There was not a dog walking area, so we used the well supplied dog area in the RV park adjacent to the motel. The manager was very nice and repaired our rooms TV remote.

It was the typical outside door motel, but the service was very pleasant especially for 2 am... the room was very clean n bed very comfy. We slept well. Also very dog friendly. Vinyl floors r great idea for dog friendly rooms.

I got a room with my friend and had to leave before him. He went to check out and they wouldn’t give him the deposit, I even tried video calling and talking to the man at the desk. I called back up there to tell him I’d be there in a bit and he lied and said he gave my friend the deposit. So basically, they stole 50$ from us. So, don’t go here unless you want your money stolen.

Positive: Absolutely nothing Negative: My room was not clean. I did not get room service after I complained! Had to clean my own room!
