Motel 6 Sparks, NV - Airport - Sparks

The gentleman at the office were so kind, friendly, and welcoming! They have free coffee every morning. The grounds keeper do their best to keep the outside clean. Not their fault that people don't pick up after their dogs, which is terrible because my husband stepped in it when walking our dog. They have a nice little fenced off area just for your dogs to relieve themselves. They provide bags as well. The rooms are kept pretty clean. It's nice to have a microwave oven as well as a refrigerator when you're traveling for business. I really appreciate the fact that we can bring our dog with us because he's not used to being alone. You can see that they work hard trying to keep up with the place. They have a nice laundry room.

Great value for the price. The room was simple but very clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I appreciated how friendly and helpful the front desk staff were.

The floor of the bathroom had what appeared to be dried poop near the toilet and on the floor as you exited the bathroom. The maid had been in cleaning the room just before we entered. I could not believe this had not been cleaned off of the floor. I was rather disgusted. The bathroom light switch and back of the door near where you put your hand to close it was dirty, and the mirror of above the sink had what looked to be spit marks from someone using an electric toothbrush or flossing in front of the mirror and stuff flinging onto it. The room appeared to have had a base level clean out but was definitely not clean. When I told the font desk about all of this at check out I was given a simple, I am sorry, I will let the cleaning people know. It took about 5 minutes of pushing random

Positive: Ice machine worked! One of the largest TV screens we've seen in a motel of this category. Negative: Squishy bed, scratchy towels, stingy with only two wafers of soap provided (we had to request shampoo), and a clientele that ranged from end of the liners and day workers. Not great for families or normal types

I had a great stay at Motel 6 Sparks. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The location near the airport made it very convenient for my early flight.
