Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Reno Sparks

5 star stay for us! Chose this hotel last minute for a one-night stay before flying out of Reno. Georgenia (spelling?) at breakfast was amazing - friendly, hardworking, and breakfast was excellent! Some reviews complain about small rooms, but we received a free upgrade from the lowest cost King room to a very spacious, clean, and nice room (bedroom + another space - no door - with sofa, table, TV, and a working desk). Only suggestion would be better parking lot lighting all around the hotel. This location seems a bit industrial. Photos: 1. Zoomed in on beautiful mountain in the distance; 2. Freeway view from window at end of hall (NOT zoomed in); 3. View from our room showing the industrial nature at the front of the hotel. We would stay here again.

Positive: Ease of finding it off the freeway after a long day of travel Negative: Was so surprised at how out-dated and plain the room was. Bathroom needed a definite remodel. AC was shockingly loud. Color scheme in room was non-existent. Was just really really surprised at the dinginess for the price…

Staff went above and beyond to make a chill night for the baseball game when I stayed here. Got the upgraded WiFi ran my online games smooth. Staff is friendly and everything is clean every time I stay here. Also close to everywhere I need to be which is nice. Try to stay here whenever they have availability. Bed was super comfortable no complaints at all from me.

We debated on which hotel to stay overnight on our trip back to Idaho and Fairfield seemed easiest on/off freeway. The front desk girl was sweet and pleasant, room was clean and nicely equipped, pool was clean and free breakfast was amazing: Bacon well cooked, cheese omelets were good (not powdered), delicious waffles, sausage biscuits, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, pretty much anything you’d want. The one lady who was running the kitchen was pleasant and attentive, sweet to a little boy who couldn’t figure out what he wanted. Mom and dad weren’t far away. All in all this was a great spot for our frequent trips so will stay again. The only downfall was the noise from the freeway even though we liked the easy on and off access.

The location of this hotel really is ideal in Reno. It’s away from downtown Reno and is in a good area right off of I-80. The service was good even late at night and the employees that helped us were very friendly! The room was very comfortable and had ample space for two people in separate beds. The breakfast was also nice to have and was a good addition.
