Motel 6 Southington, CT - Hartford

I came to this Motel 6 location for safety reasons, as it was further from the town where I was living at the time. I had a restraining order in place due to a dangerous ex, and this location seemed ideal. However, my experience was far from safe or satisfactory. Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk. I had to call their central office to get checked in. Once I finally received my room, the phone in the room didn’t work—this is a serious safety issue, especially in a situation like mine where I had no backup way to call for help if needed. I returned to the front desk, where the staff simply offered me another room. That room had blood on the walls, and the towels were filthy. I had to go buy cleaning products and clean the room myself just to feel safe enough to stay there. The

Checked in and back out within 10 minutes. Person at front desk was very nice giving refund. Rented two rooms- one smelled like cigarettes and marajuina and the other room was filthy. There was hair in the bathtub drain and dirt in the tub. I do not recommend staying here. For a few dollars more there are far nicer places to stay.

Very Disappointing Stay The receptionist had a very bad attitude and made me feel like I was bothering him just by checking in. The room was extremely small, dirty, and disgusting — even one star feels too generous. If you enjoy sleeping right on the heating/air conditioning unit, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, avoid.

The bed was more like a prison cot. Obnoxiously loud. Creaky. Then the toilet leaked from the bottom causing there to be water on the floor. Gross and unsanitary. This was terrible. I wish they would give me my money back I didnt even stay it was so bad. Go literally anywhere else! Sleeping in your car would probably be more comfortable.
