Motel 6 Shreveport - Bossier City

We were disappointed with our stay. Other motels at which we have stayed in Shreveport were more agreeable. Kim, the night manager, didn't seem to know the location of the fast food restaurant we inquired about, nor did she offer a phone book to find it, or the location of any others. Maybe she just had a bad day. There was not a microwave nor a refrig in any of the rooms. Because there were 3 of us, my husband & I shared a bed & our adult son had the other. Both beds were against a wall on one side which meant when I got out of bed I either had to crawl across my husband or crawl down the wall side. It was chilly that evening so we wanted to turn the heat on the next morning to take showers. The heat did not work! Needless to say those were the quickest showers ever. The day manage

We have stayed at this Motel 6 several times spanning about 4 years and have always had a nice stay. It's nothing fancy but for the price it is good. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. This stay our air conditioner froze up so they moved us to another room. The room was cramped with two double beds but it wasn't a problem. I did end up with bed bug bites though. I would give this property another chance but will pay more attention before crawling between the sheets.

We arrived to a very pleasant greeting and was given a room quickly. We went in the room. Clean (check) all looks good. We set the heater and leave. Hours later we return to a cooler than expected room. So we turn up the number on the heater. Yes I check that it was on Heat. As we got into bed, we noticed there was not a blanket on either bed. Only a sheet and bedspread, but since we turn up the heat control we went to bed. During the night I added hotels on top of my covers for more warmth. The next morning I did let the front desk to let them know both problems. We then checked out.

We typically stop at Motel 6 because we have 2 small dogs and they are always welcome. However, we will NEVER stay at this one again. The room was the most disgusting one I have ever seen at a Motel 6. Our non smoking room reeked of smoke. A big cigarette hole was burned into the night stand. One bedspread had a cigarette hole. The blanket on one bed was visibly dirty. The floor was sticky to the point I wore shoes at all times. I was concerned about the cleanliness of the linens so I slept in my clothes which covered more than my pjs. The laminate floors were peeling and rolling back, the room needed to be painted, the bathtub was so damaged they tried to make it look better with paint, which didn’t work. We paid for two adults and two beds, but only got one towel about the size of a

the motel was nearly empty. I made a reservation earlier in the day. I requested a 1st floor room. The desk clerk put me as close to the Interstate as possible and on the second floor. Her answer was that there were no Non-smoking rooms available on the 1 st floor. For whatever reason she decided to give me the worst room on the property. What BS. The shower faucet nearly pulled out of the wall and leaked all night. The room door only worked if you lifted the handle up. An old 19" old TV. The only good thing about this place was that they don't charge more for dogs. Earlier on my trip I had stayed in Meridian,ID in the best Motel 6 I have stayed in. YOu need to bulldoze your Bossier City property. Tomorrow.
