Homewood Suites by Hilton Shreveport / Bossier City, LA

Heather and Latania at the front desk were very nice and helpful during the check in process. Had a great size 2 bedroom suite with an enormous shower. Hotel was very clean and all interactions with employees were pleasant. Planning on staying here every time!

Except for the toilet issue, we enjoyed our stay. I reviewed this before on my previous review. I don't know if people understood it or not. The toilet would not refill sometimes and we had to take the tank lid off and mash a gray lever in the back that would stick. Totally disgusting! The team did not respond satisfactory to me. My last communication with the team had no response at all. I'm still looking for someone to reach out to me about some reasonable compensation.

Positive: Staff is very nice , respectful . Negative: Complementary breakfast could be better .

Overall loved my stay. Rooms were very clean, quiet and well kept. There were minor maintenance repairs needed but nothing overly obvious or that most people would see. Didn’t take away from the nice room we had. Front desk was super nice and helpful at check in. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay at a decent price for the area if you’re looking for somewhere good. Will definitely be back!

My family and I stay at this location frequently. We require two bedrooms and these are pretty spacious. We have liked this hotel for its central location and cleanliness, especially when compared to the location in Shreveport. That location is atrocious. However, this time we had several issues that made the stay less than ideal. First, I do all my bookings and check-ins digitally. Check in time is 4p. By 6p I still had not gotten my digital key, even though I checked in hours earlier. I called and the lady rudely stated that they were “busy” and would call me back later. Eventually, I got a call back and was told we would have a room shortly. I do t understand this, because checkout is 11a, so why would it take 6 hours to turn the room? No answers were provided.
