Motel 6 Santa Rosa, NM

The only redeeming quality was the customer service. While the ADA room option wasn't suitable for our needs, the staff tried their best to find a room that would work. While the room itself was clean, there was a persistent, unpleasant poop smell that wouldn't go away. I think the smell came from the shower drain. Unfortunately, the hotel has very few food options. While the lack of food isn't the staff's fault, they did offer some recommendations. I heard a Mexican restaurant right across the street was highly recommended. Because the restaurant was so crowded, I had to stop at Love's or TA. The fast food service at TA wasn't great, so I'll leave a separate review about that. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be staying there again on future cross-country trips.

Had a good experience. Was quiet for the most part. Had a dog poop area. Hard wood floors. I liked the bed but my husband said it was creepy and about to fall apart. The employee was very nice. Let us reserve a room over the phone and pay cash when we got there a few hours later. There is a pool but it closed for winter months. Good experience especially on a long road trip

Stayed here on my way from Oklahoma to California, definitely one of the nicer motel 6’s I’ve been to . You can’t complain, especially when you get hot showers and tv lol. Safe parking lot, didn’t worry about my car being broken into and such.

I hadn't planned on staying in Santa Rosa but weather demanded I stop driving for the night. I didn't have to lie about having a cat with me because they don't require a deposit for it. The room was great. It was my sanctuary that night. I would definitely go back.

Let's start with the positives. Price is okay, staff were very helpful and friendly, close to food quiet. The negatives, the ac filter was as if it had never been cleaned since installation, bugs crawling in the shower,, woke up to a roach crawling on the wall next to the bed. It served its purpose as a place to stay after a long day on a motorcycle, but will think twice about booking again when passing through.
