Americas Best Value Inn Santa Rosa, NM

Stayed here for one night on our way to Albuquerque. The room was ok, not great condition. Amenities and toiletries were non-existent. The AV/heater did not have a temperature control monitor and was in need of some serious cleaning. Front staff were not too friendly either.

I’m so happy I took the chance on this motel! Check-in was easy and they found my reservation quickly, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The room came out to only $73 and that’s with a $10 pet fee, it was definitely worth it. The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable and clean with 2 blankets and 3 pillows. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, desk and chair, Tv, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of outlets. A hot and clean shower with nice pressure, not a bug in site and the air conditioner was nice and cold and didn’t have any musky smells. Keycard was a “tap” type and worked without problems.|| The location feels really safe and it was really pleasant and quite, other than a passing train. The pictures really don’t do it justice, we also had vinyl floor

Positive: The bed was comfortable enough. Negative: The blanket without a sheet in between is scratchy and uncomfortable. The soap is unusable.They really need a better painter.

Talk about off the beaten path. Although just off the main highway, she still holds a private feeling. It's actually two hotels. One really nice the other acctually attached, lot more homely looking. See picture for example. Every great old actor of the past has stayed there. Every high end room has a famous actor on their door. John Wayne, etc. Truly A museum of the ages. Great bar and an even better restaurant. Well worth our time. Enjoy.

A little farther off I-40 than most hotels. The price was decent and clean. The room needs updates and the bed was just okay. Trains travel nearby and the noise can be bothersome.
