The breakfast is the best I've had at a Hampton in years. The staff friendly. But the rooms are bad. The walls are flimsy and you can hear you neighbors. I was on the 3rd floor and could easily hear traffic on the interstate. The A/C had been disconnected from the wall thermostat and relied on the one built into the window unit. Worst of all was the poor housekeeping. There was dirt and insect droppings in the drawers of the dresser. I found a speck of dirt on the sheets when I pulled back the covers to get into bed. I found a piece of dental floss in the waste basket in the bathroom. When I took my dog out to do her business, there was only gravel, not even a piece of astroturf, something the nearby Best Western provided. On top of that this Hampton charges $75 for their pet fee when oth

Let me preface by saying we are greatful to have had a place to rest during inclement weather and the front desk clerk was super sweet. However, the property was less than desirable. The room was very expensive for what it was. The bathtub created and cracked like it was going to fall through the floor. The bathroom was dirty (photos included). There was a dog behind the property (house behind hotel) that barked all night. The pillows were flat and smelled like an ash tray. The toilet didn't flush well. And there were gaps in the door so we heard all the hallway noise. The breakfast was horrible. But the coffee was good.

Check in went OK. Not overly friendly. When we got to the room it smelled terrible and the TV wouldn’t work. When I asked for help, there was no other room available. We did get the tv working and opened the window. The room showed a lot of wear, but was functional and mostly clean. The biscuits for breakfast were good .

Positive: THe room was big Negative: It was very noisy and room was very dated. You could hear conversations upstairs and in hallways. Dogs were noisy also. Wallpaper was falling off in bathroom and tub was squeaky sounded like you were going to fall through.

Weary from 16 hours of driving, we stopped at this Hampton Inn. The manager - the only staff on duty when we checked in - was kind and accommodating. The room, however, wasn't as pleasant. There were hairs on the sheets and pillow, the caulk jobs in the bathroom look like Stevie Wonder did it, and the carpet was clearly not vacuumed before our stay. This room, despite the two queen beds, was definitely not worth the over $140 we paid for it. In hindsight, we should have gone to the Holiday Inn Express right down the road and spent less for an equal or greater experience.
