Motel 6 Santa Maria, CA - South

Unfortunately, this motel 6 does not come anywhere near others. I travel frequently and often use motel 6 and other similar motels. They are typically simple but clean and cost effective. This location is a poor representative of the motel 6 brand. First of all, the customer service is lacking. I got the run around when trying to rent a room and wound up paying almost double what booking.com quoted for the room. I was initially told there were no pet friendly rooms, then she said there was etc. Just felt like I was being conned. Then I got into the room. Yikes. Absolutey does NOT look anything at all like the pictures. Stained and burnt bed spreads. Mold in the shower. Graffiti on the windows. Broken clothes rack. Just an awful room. I haven't seen bugs yet, but I would not be surprised.

Centrally located in Santa Maria and reasonably priced together with efficient professional staffing and retail and restaurant choices close by this lower cost hotel/motel option that also includes attention to details and customer needs. In addition the husband and wife management team Jim and Maria(?) made my stay quite comfortable.

Please for your sake never stay here. Knew to expect little considering the rating, I will say though if you have the extra money find somewhere else to stay. I was surprisingly awoken today first night into my stay to loud music and love making at 5am dude. I spoke with the manager or front desk male and he essentially told me I was lying and continued to divert from the original conversation about the two individuals making noise like that at 5am. Mind you I checked in at 2am and I think you can imagine how I feel getting 3 hours of sleep and then having to deal with this issue like I’m the manager. On top of that I’m confused as to why my non smoking room has a bag covering the smoke detector as well considering I had called ahead to specifically ask for a non smoking room. Management i

We recently stayed for one night on a road trip. Of course, our king room ($80 including tax) was basic, but it was large, comfortable, recently remodeled in very cool contemporary decor and very clean. There were plenty of towels and a very comfy bed but no amenities (other than soap). We were on the ground floor with a sliding door that opened to the pool area, which was a nice touch. Staff could not have been nicer. There was hot coffee in the lobby in the morning. I thought I had read they offered some sort of continental breakfast, but I didn't see one and we don't eat donuts, etc. anyway. Our room had a micro and small refrig. which were very handy. It was freeway close with a Denny's next door, which we appreciated after a long drive. The wait staff at Denny's were very swee
